My name is Carissa Reese.

I am originally from the Midwest, but have lived in South Florida for the last 12 years with my best friend and husband, Michael. We have a dog and 3 cats, and enjoy our time gardening, being outdoors, and cooking together.

I completed a Bachelor of Science degree at Purdue University in 2003 and worked as a veterinary technician for decades before becoming specialized in Veterinary Neurology in 2010. In 2021, I felt led to lay down my career, and was guided into ministry. I returned to school and have been blessed with a Master of Arts degree from Regent University, with a concentration in Biblical & Christian Counseling.

Through my life journey, I have found that the Lord’s Word has been a light to my path and given me an instructed tongue to sustain the weary and lead others on what it means to walk in the Spirit. As an ambassador for Christ, I now strive to speak His truth in love to encourage others daily, so sin’s deceitfulness may not harden hearts. I love the Lord, I am an advocate for His Word, and with the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, I love people. I firmly believe that Jesus offers the cure to what ails our souls.
